1,400-Acre Brush Fire Is Fully Contained

After burning about 1,400 acres in northwest Los Angeles County, a brush fire was fully contained Sunday, the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.

The wind-driven blaze started Saturday morning near Soledad Canyon and Briggs roads, and moved northeast toward Acton, said county fire dispatch supervisor Dan Opbroek.

The fire caused no injuries and did not damage any structures. The fire is under investigation.
