About 4,200 gallons of sewage spilled onto a fairway at Lake Sherwood Golf Course this week after a sewer line became blocked.
The discharge occurred about 3 p.m. Wednesday, said officials with Ventura County's Environmental Health Division. It was caused by blockage at a manhole in the 200 block of Stafford Road.
