County Seeks Tribal Funds From Casino

Santa Barbara County wants a piece of the Chumash Casino jackpot.

With the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians hoping to renegotiate their casino operating agreement with the state, Santa Barbara County officials on Tuesday drafted a letter to Gov. Gray Davis asking for tribal funds.
