Radical Group Sets Fire to SUVs at Dealership

In the latest vandalism carried out in the name of the Earth Liberation Front, members of the radical environmental group are claiming responsibility for a fire that destroyed four vehicles at an auto dealership in northwest Pennsylvania.

A posting on the group's Web site said the "attack" targeted sport utility vehicles in a fight "to remove the profit motive from the killing of the natural environment."

The vehicles were torched Wednesday at a dealership in Girard, FBI Special Agent Bob Rudge said. Rudge said the communique appeared authentic because it included information not made public.
