FEATS OF THE WEEK

* Lindsey Shiomi scored 29 points, including six three-point baskets, to lead Whittier Christian to a 54-49 victory over Pomona in the Ontario Christian tournament championship.

* Noelle Quinn scored 24 points and Nykia Peace added 23 as Torrance Bishop Montgomery beat then-No. 4 Long Beach Wilson, 72-39.

CLUTCH

* Sheena Crenshaw stole the ball from Ashlee Trebilcock with five seconds to play and made a layup with two seconds left to give Antelope Valley a 57-56 upset of Newhall Hart.

* Evelyn Gomez scored 29 points, including a basket with three seconds remaining, to give Garden Grove Santiago a 52-51 victory over Anaheim Katella.

* Judith Smith made two free throws with 3.3 seconds left to give Long Beach Poly a 65-63 victory over La Jolla Country Day.

* Meghan McGuire had 21 points and 14 rebounds as Troy defeated Mater Dei, 59-44, in a showdown of top-25 teams.

* Desirae Martinez scored 31 points for Santa Fe in its 51-38 victory over Cerritos Valley Christian.

LOOKING AHEAD

* No. 23 Temecula Valley hopes for a repeat performance at home Wednesday when it plays No. 24 Perris, which it has beaten once this season, 51-48.

* Saturday is special as No. 2 Harbor City Narbonne and point guard Camille LeNoir play at No. 1 Lynwood and its host of stars, including Sade Wiley-Gatewood.
