June 14, 2003|From Times Wire Reports

A two-year investigation into drug trafficking and racketeering resulted in the arrests this week of 17 members and associates of the Hell's Angels Motorcycle Club of San Diego County.

The allegations date to 1995 and include those involving an April 2002 shootout in Laughlin, Nev., that ended in the deaths of three Hell's Angels members and a member of the rival Mongol gang. Investigators raided the El Cajon clubhouse of the Hell's Angels and arrested the leaders and several members Wednesday.
