* Mike Hornbuckle made six three-point baskets and scored 39 points to lead Westlake Village Oaks Christian to a 78-70 victory over Santa Maria St. Joseph in a Division IV-AA quarterfinal.

FANTASTIC FINISH

* Dorell Wright scored the winning layup with 16 seconds left and Lawndale Leuzinger defeated Long Beach Poly, 65-63, in a Division I-AA second-round game that marked the end of retiring Poly Coach Ron Palmer's career.

LOOKING AHEAD

Moore scored 32 points and had eight rebounds in Brea's 68-40 quarterfinal victory over Santa Barbara San Marcos.

Prejean had a game-high 21 points in Mayfair's 77-51 thumping of Burbank Burroughs.
