LETTERS TO THE TIMES

Body Counts

May 01, 2003

As our nation continues to disperse its soldiers around the planet to conduct dangerous and deadly operations to protect our country's national security and keep dangerous and deadly operations that may threaten the homeland away from the American landscape, The Times and all media must keep the body count on the front page and not relegate the deaths of American soldiers to Page A15 ("2 U.S. Soldiers Die in Afghan Clash," April 26). Support and respect America's soldiers and keep the blood cost of America's public policy on the front page.
