DALLAS — Tyronne Jones caught a 19-yard touchdown pass from Leon Murray with 37 seconds left to lift the Georgia Force to a 49-45 victory over the Dallas Desperados before 7,597 in a wild-card game of the Arena Football League playoffs Saturday.
After Jones' touchdown, Dallas drove inside the Georgia 15, but the Force batted down two passes to seal the victory in the Force's first AFL playoff appearance.
Murray completed 26 of 41 passes for 246 yards and five touchdowns, and Jarrick Hillery caught nine passes for 102 yards and three touchdowns for Georgia, which will play at San Jose next Saturday.
Jim Kubiak completed 24 of 37 for 230 yards and six touchdowns for Dallas.
