May 25, 2003|From Times Staff and Wire Reports

The British Broadcasting Corp. said it planned to briefly show graphic footage of two British soldiers killed in Iraq despite protests from their families and the Defense Ministry.

The BBC plans to show the bodies of Sgt. Simon Cullingworth, 36, and Sapper Luke Allsopp, 24, as part of a documentary comparing Western broadcasters' coverage of the war with that of the Arab satellite TV channel Al Jazeera, which broadcast the footage in March.
