May 28, 2003|From Reuters

Federal regulators have warned conglomerate Tyco International Ltd. about alleged quality-control lapses involving the production of catheters used to care for premature infants.

In an April 21 warning letter, the Food and Drug Administration ordered the company to fix the purported problems at the company's Argyle, N.Y., facility.

The company said it is working to address the matters the FDA raised in the letter.
