Hall of Fame: Veteran music producer, record executive and Grammy-winning songwriter Kenneth Gamble has proposed establishing an R&B Hall of Fame and museum in his native Philadelphia. Mayor John Street and Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell have backed the idea.

More Michael: Michael Jackson's album of his No. 1 hits, titled "Number Ones," coming Nov. 18, will include a new single, "One More Chance," written by R. Kelly and co-produced by Kelly and Jackson, according to Billboard. Jackson also will be featured in a one-hour CBS special targeted to air around Thanksgiving.

Smithsonian: Ned Rifkin, director of the Smithsonian Institution's Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, has been named director of its five international art museums.

Wineheads?: An ice cream was named after him, so why not wine? J. Garcia wines are now being bottled by the Clos du Bois winery in Sonoma County in honor of Grateful Dead guitarist and songwriter Jerry Garcia, who died in 1995. Labels on the new J. Garcia Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon feature Garcia, who briefly attended high school in Sonoma.
