Drove up to Mosquito Flat just past Rock Creek Lake and hiked to stunning alpine lakes. Stayed in our favorite cabin at dog-friendly Crystal Crag Lodge (in Mammoth Lakes), hiking to lakes during unusually warm days. Missed Lake Mary's bald eagles but watched momma bear and three cubs steal a trout from a fisherman.
