I went with my two sons and some family on a cruise to Mexico. We went to Playa del Carmen, right near Cancun. We went on a tour of these Mayan ruins. Another day we went snorkeling. We also stopped in Cancun. I tried to stick my head into a few restaurants. There are these little carts serving food. You smell the food and see the food and you have to try it.

Discovery: There's a restaurant in Cancun called La Parilla. There are actually several. They cater to tourists, but it's typical food from the Yucatan: a lot of grilled food
