Righteous Brother, a full brother of 2000 world champion A Ransom, was the fastest qualifier Friday night for the upcoming $864,850 Golden State Futurity. He completed 400 yards in 19.63 seconds and won by 1 1/2 lengths.

Righteous Brother will return for the final Oct. 31 against the other nine qualifiers: Brookstone Bay, Corona For Me, Summertime Fly, Well I Never, Be A Bono, Cuervo Max, Sapranos Play Boy, Babe On The Fly and Shyann Cash.
