China's No. 2 Makes Diplomatic Visit

China's second in command began a visit to North Korea as efforts mount to convene another round of six-nation talks on Pyongyang's nuclear program. The New China News Agency did not mention the issue in announcing the trip.

Wu Bangguo, a member of the Communist Party's Standing Committee and head of China's legislature, is leading a state delegation, the agency said.
