Saturn Promo Offers Dell PCs

September 08, 2003|From Reuters

General Motors Corp. said Sunday that it would offer a free Dell computer system to consumers who buy or lease a 2003 model year Saturn vehicle, the latest incentive the automaker has used to boost sales.

Under GM's "Buy a Saturn, Get a Dell" program, consumers who buy a 2003 Saturn Ion compact car, L-Series mid-size car or Vue sport utility vehicle this month will receive a certificate for the Dell Dimension 2400 desktop computer, valued at $800.

The computer is in addition to GM's other incentives on Saturns, including interest-free financing or $2,000 cash back on the Ion and Vue and $3,000 cash on the L-Series.

Last month, Saturn promoted its cars on the QVC home-shopping television network in an attempt to lure more female buyers.
