L.A.'s the place: The 46th annual Grammys will be held at Staples Center in Los Angeles on Feb. 8, the Recording Academy announced Tuesday.

Tom's gone: MTV has canceled "The New Tom Green Show," a late-night talk show that had premiered in June.

Marketing Harry: Having already conquered the children's market, Scholastic, Inc., the U.S. publisher of J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter" novels, is targeting adults, ages 18 to 35. Potter ads featuring bikers, skateboarders and couch potatoes will appear in Rolling Stone and other magazines throughout October.
