New York City gallery owner Holly Solomon once asked artist Andy Warhol what he thought of the bright yellow Roy Lichtenstein she had hung against a gold wall. His reply: "Anything goes with anything." Displaying art is a complex, subjective affair, and hanging art is definitely not for the faint of heart.
