Update -- The Galaxy, coming off a 15-day break, has maintained a one-point lead in the Western Conference by going 3-0-3 in its last six games. But that streak came on the heels of two losses to the MetroStars in four days, including a 2-1 loss on Mike Magee's 90th-minute goal at Giants Stadium. The MetroStars have also played well of late, winning three and tying one of their last four games, with Amado Guevara scoring a goal in each, and lead the Eastern Conference by four points. Alejandro Moreno, the Venezuelan forward who is second on the Galaxy with six goals, has received a green card and permanent resident status, and will no longer count against the club's limit on senior international players.
