Frank Mantooth, 56, who earned 11 Grammy nominations for five albums he recorded, died Friday in Garden City, Kan., of what a coroner described as natural causes.
Mantooth earned a bachelor's in music from North Texas State University and contributed arrangements as a member of the Air Force Academy Falconaires from 1969-73. He spent seven years in Austria, earning a degree in piano from the Vienna Hochschule fur Musik.
