A former Glendale independent claims adjustor working for Allstate Insurance Co. was sentenced Monday to more than seven years in prison for insurance fraud.
U.S. District Judge Audrey B. Collins in Los Angeles sentenced Harry Miller, who prosecutors say also used the name Harry Booth, to 87 months in federal prison and also ordered him to pay $50,000 in restitution to Allstate for inflating repair bills for homes damaged in the 1994 Northridge earthquake.
