Los Angeles County sheriff's detectives arrested two suspects in the fatal shootings of three men whose bodies were found last month inside a Mercedes-Benz sedan at a La Mirada strip mall, authorities said Saturday.
The victims apparently were lured to a home in the Whittier area "under the guise of a legal business proposition," sheriff's spokesman Scott Butler said.
Authorities said the men were robbed and fatally shot inside the home. Their bodies were then driven to a parking lot in the 14500 block of Telegraph Road. They were discovered Jan. 30.
Cimarron Bell, 29, and Briaell Lee, 21, of Los Angeles were arrested and booked on murder charges. Bell was being held on $1-million bail Saturday at county jail; Lee was being held without bail. Detectives executed a search warrant at Bell's house in the 11900 block of Inez Avenue in the unincorporated area of Whittier on Friday night, Butler said. They believe the men were killed there.
