Art: Daniel Kunitz, a former managing editor at the Paris Review, has been named U.S. editor of ArtReview magazine.

Film: Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino will preside over the jury at this year's Cannes film festival, which opens May 12. His crime romp "Pulp Fiction" won the festival's top honor, the Palme d'Or, in 1994. Tarantino says the job marks "the crowning achievement of a lifetime spent in cinematic obsession."
