QUICK TAKES

February 27, 2004|From staff and wire reports

A British television interview in which Michael Jackson said he sometimes let children sleep in his bed has been named program of the year in the Royal Television Society's TV journalism awards.

The industry group said Martin Bashir's 2003 interview for Granada Television's "Living With Michael Jackson" showed "great journalistic enterprise."
