Irvine Regional Park's main area, including the zoo and train ride, will be open today while firefighters continue mopping up a 55-acre brush fire, a county park official said Monday.
The slow-moving fire, which started Sunday, did not threaten any structures. It was 95% contained by Monday afternoon.
