Orange County | IN BRIEF / WESTMINSTER

June 18, 2004|From Times Staff Reports

Westminster School District trustees will hold a special meeting today to reconsider whether to mail a letter to district residents and staff defending the board's controversial position on a state anti-discrimination law.

The meeting follows a warning from the district attorney's office. Prosecutors said they would drop the matter if trustees revisited the issue and allowed public comment before voting.
