History of Bubble Gum"

By Lee Wardlaw

The first page of this book had a picture with almost every gum imaginable. And in the last few pages, it had tips on how to get gum stains out of clothes, furniture, hair and even shoes. It even has steps and a recipe for making gum! It was a fun book that I recommend to anyone who likes gum as much as I do.

"Arthur Meets the President"

By Marc Brown

One day Arthur's teacher says, "You are going to enter a contest." If Arthur's class wins, they will visit the White House. Everyone started to write. The principal got a letter saying that Arthur's class had won. They went wild. Arthur was nervous because he had to read what he wrote out loud to everyone. Then suddenly Arthur's paper flew away because a helicopter went over. Read this book to find out the ending.
