A man was stabbed in the torso Wednesday when a fight erupted after an Angels-Yankees baseball game in Anaheim, police said.
Alberto Navarette Jimenez, 23, of Anaheim was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, officials said.
The altercation took place about 10:30 p.m. just outside Angel Stadium.
Several off-duty LAPD officers attending the game detained Jimenez until Anaheim police arrived, Sgt. Rick Martinez said.
The 23-year-old victim, a U.S. Marine, was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange with nonlife threatening wounds.
