Terrorist attacks worldwide more than tripled last year, with much of the increase in Iraq, according to government figures released by Rep. Henry A. Waxman (D-Los Angeles).Waxman said there were about 650 significant terrorist attacks last year, a leap from the 175 tallied in 2003.
