NBC Universal and Apple Computer Inc. plan to announce today a partnership to make NBC-owned programs available to video iPod users, sources familiar with the deal said.

In October, Burbank-based Walt Disney Co. and Cupertino, Calif.-based Apple began selling ABC's "Desperate Housewives," "Lost" and other shows for $1.99 a download.
