Passenger, 14, Dies When Truck Hits Tree
A high school student died Monday morning when the truck she was riding in slammed into a tree, authorities said.
Stephanie Cox, 14, was killed when the driver, Kena Kirsnis, 18, lost control of a Ford F-250, said Sgt. Earl Quinata of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Authorities are seeking witnesses to the accident.
