Man Is Electrocuted While Decorating Home
A man was electrocuted Sunday afternoon while hanging Christmas lights outside his house in San Bernardino County, officials said.
Joel Cantoran, 35, was standing in a tree when he flung a string of lights over a power pole; the resulting shock knocked him about 50 feet to the ground, authorities said. Paramedics took Cantoran to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
