Boy, 3, Reportedly Drowns in Bathtub
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the apparent drowning Saturday afternoon of a 3-year-old boy in a bathtub at home.
Sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Scroggin said deputies received a call about 2:45 p.m. and responded to the home in the 15000 block of Eucalyptus Avenue.
The boy, identified by the county coroner’s office as Brian Nelsen, was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
As of Saturday night, detectives had not made a determination on how the apparent drowning occurred, Scroggin said.
