Teenager Arrested Near Bank After Robbery
A 17-year-old was arrested after he robbed money from a Bank of America branch inside a supermarket using a replica handgun, police said Saturday.
The suspect, who lives in Huntington Beach, entered Albertson’s Market on Beach Boulevard on Friday wearing a ski mask and demanded money from the teller, police said.
He placed an undisclosed amount in a briefcase and left, but he was spotted by police officers in the parking lot and arrested.
The teenager, who was not identified because he is a minor, was being held in Orange County Juvenile Hall.
