Iraq Accidents Kill Two Troops

BAGHDAD — A Marine and a soldier were killed Friday in separate traffic accidents in Iraq, the U.S. military said.

The Marine, assigned to the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, died while conducting security operations in Al Anbar province west of Baghdad, the military said.

The soldier, also assigned to the 1st Marines, was killed during security operations in Babil province, south of the capital.

Names the two men were withheld pending notification of relatives.
