As jurors in pop star Michael Jackson's child-molestation case put in their first full day of deliberations Monday, the California sun smiled down on throngs of fans and media members awaiting a verdict.
But with voluminous and complicated legal instructions facing the jury -- let alone the actual decision -- the waiting will continue. The panel is scheduled to resume discussions today in the trial, which officially began Jan. 31.
