LETTERS TO THE TIMES

A Double Standard

June 23, 2005

Re "Terror Camps Scatter, Persist," June 20: How is it possible that we invaded a country that had little or nothing to do with the terrorist attacks on 9/11 but are so vehemently concerned with violating the sovereignty of Pakistan, a country that according to the FBI's own report has Al Qaeda-affiliated camps operating within its borders?
