Police Wound Man Who Allegedly Wielded Knife
Police on Thursday shot and wounded a man wielding a 7-inch knife at an apartment building on Alvarado Street, officials said.
The man, shot in the chest, was taken to County-USC Medical Center, where he underwent surgery late Thursday, police said.
