The Energy Department said that it won't meet its Dec. 1 deadline to announce a winner of the contract to manage Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Vying for the Los Alamos contract are two teams, one headed by Lockheed Martin Corp. and the University of Texas and the other by the University of California and Bechtel Corp.
