Three men and a 16-year-old boy were arrested in Buena Park early Wednesday on suspicion of robbing 30 to 40 businesses in Los Angeles and Orange counties over the last two weeks, police said.

The four allegedly robbed five businesses in the two hours before they were arrested.

Police did not identify the suspects because of the continuing investigation.

On Tuesday, a Texaco gas station in Buena Park was robbed about 11:10 p.m. Fifteen minutes later, a Yum Yum Donuts in La Palma was hit. In the next hour, a liquor store in Fullerton and an AM/PM convenience store in Santa Fe Springs were robbed.

The last robbery was about 12:50 a.m. Wednesday at a 7-Eleven in Fullerton. Five minutes later, an officer spotted the suspects and arrested them.

The three men were in custody at Buena Park City Jail. The teenager was being held at Orange County Juvenile Hall in Orange.

Bail was set at $100,000 each.
