`Blind Faith' Killer Is Resentenced to Life

A convicted killer whose case spawned a popular book and TV miniseries -- and whose death sentence was overturned on appeal last year -- was sentenced in Toms River to life in prison.

Robert O. Marshall, once first in line for execution on death row, was resentenced for arranging his wife's death in a case that inspired the bestselling book and miniseries "Blind Faith."

Marshall, 65, was sentenced to life with no parole for 30 years. He gets credit for the 22 years he has served, making him eligible for release in 2014.
