* A federal judge has set a Feb. 27 hearing in San Jose to examine the Google Inc. decision to withhold millions of online search records from the Justice Department.

* CBS Corp. has announced plans to sell its Paramount Parks division, whose five parks in Santa Clara, Calif., and four other U.S. and Canadian locations draw more than 12 million visitors a year.

* Halliburton Co. said it planned to sell a minority stake in its engineering and construction unit KBR, which has generated enormous controversy over how it has become the largest U.S. contractor in Iraq. Halliburton shares rose $3.78 to $78.93 .
