House Speaker J. Dennis Hastert was hospitalized for treatment of a bacterial skin infection.
Hastert (R-Ill.), 64, was expected to be treated with intravenous antibiotics at Bethesda Naval Hospital through the weekend, according to his spokesman Ron Bonjean.
