The Dallas Cowboys have moved their training camp around the country. This is the last year the franchise will hold camp in Oxnard.

* July 9, 1960 -- Rookies report to Pacific University in Forest Grove, Ore., for the first training camp held by the new franchise.

* July 9, 1961 -- The Cowboys open training camp at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn.

* July 13, 1962 -- The Cowboys relocate their training camp to Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Mich.

* July 12, 1963 -- Camp shifts to Cal Lutheran in Thousand Oaks.

* July 22, 1990 -- The team moves to St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas.

* July 16, 1998 -- Training camp shifts to Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas.

* Aug. 13, 2001 -- The Cowboys split the summer camp between Wichita Falls and Oxnard.

* July 26, 2002 -- The Cowboys move to the Alamodome.

* July 30, 2004 -- Training camp returns to Southern California on a city-owned field in Oxnard.

* May 4, 2006 -- Dallas Cowboys owner and General Manager Jerry Jones and San Antonio Mayor Phil Hardberger announce that the team will return to the Alamodome. The five-year deal will begin in July 2007.
