Any U.S. Act Puts Israel at Risk, Tehran Warns
Iran threatened to attack Israel in response to any “evil” act by the U.S. and said it had enriched uranium to a level close to the maximum compatible with civilian use in nuclear power stations.
The statements were issued shortly before world powers met in Paris to plan their next moves in response to Tehran’s rejection of a United Nations call to halt enrichment.
European nations outlined a planned Security Council resolution to give “mandatory force” to demands that Iran halt enrichment.
