GM chief meets with Toyota, Isuzu, Suzuki

General Motors Corp. Chairman and Chief Executive Rick Wagoner held separate meetings in Japan with leaders of Toyota, Isuzu and Suzuki, GM said.

The meetings were scheduled in advance of Wagoner's trip to Japan and were held to discuss "areas of mutual interest," according to a GM statement.

The company would not reveal specific issues discussed, but said GM had long-standing business relationships with all three Japanese automakers.
