Orange County holiday closures

Saturday is Veterans Day. The following schedule will be in effect today in observance of the holiday:

November 10, 2006

Schools: Public schools, UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton and Chapman University are closed.

Mail: There will be delivery; administrative offices are closed.

Libraries: Most are closed.

Banks: Most are open.

Public transportation: Orange County Transportation Authority buses and Metrolink trains are on their regular schedules.

Trash collection: Regular schedules apply.

Government: Most city, county and federal offices and courts are closed. Exceptions are Los Alamitos, Laguna Hills and San Clemente.
