Nations OK travel without passports

The governments of 10 South American countries signed an agreement to allow their citizens to travel within the region without passports.

Tourists from the 10 nations will be able to travel within the region by showing only an identity card at borders. They will be able to stay for 90 days.

The countries involved are Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname and Uruguay.
