I had been looking forward to seeing the new Robin Williams film "Man of the Year." But Mary McNamara's article ["A Politician Who's Funny on Purpose," Oct. 8] revealed a key plot point.
This irresponsibility ruined the movie; now I will not be seeing it.
McNamara should go back to journalism school, or at least ask Roger Ebert to give her a few pointers on how to write about movies. Lesson One: Do not spoil the plot by revealing secrets. If Williams and the producers should decide to take her to court to recoup revenue she cost them, so much the better.
They can have me testify for them.
